Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 22 years of clinical experience.

Dr Patrick has a deep working knowledge of nutrition and how this can be tailored to heal and promote gut health.

At an exciting time for nutrition science, and its rapidly growing understanding of its importance in sustaining a healthy microbiome, Dr Patrick uses his knowledge to steer an evidence-based course, to help patients meet their individual health goals.

He also treats a range of common gastroenterological conditions, including abdominal pain, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, change in bowel habits and more.

Dr Patrick studied Neurosciences at the University of Oxford, followed by Medicine at Barts and The London Medical School, graduating in 2001 with Distinction.

He is the lead doctor for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Nutrition at a top London teaching hospital, Kings College Hospital and offers his expertise as a Private Consultant at the Shard and in London Bridge.

Dr Patrick’s vast clinical experience is complemented by an outstanding academic portfolio.

In 2006, he was granted a Medical Research Council Training Fellowship and achieved a PhD in 2011 for his research into the genetic causes of coeliac disease and Crohn’s disease.

His pioneering research is widely published in premier scientific journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and Nature Genetics. Over the years, his contributions have been recognised with numerous accolades.
